This project entails a full-scale refurbishment of 173 guest rooms and 4 levels of corridors. The scope of work includes the installation of new bathroom suites and room suites, alongside comprehensive electrical and carpentry services to ensure all spaces are brought up to the highest standards. Additionally, all bedroom and corridor fire doors will be replaced to meet updated safety regulations.

The project timeline extends from November 11th, 2024, to March 3rd, 2025. During this period, our team will coordinate closely with all stakeholders to ensure that the refurbishment is carried out efficiently and with minimal disruption to daily operations.

Renewal of the damaged boundary wall. A 20m long, 1.5m high section of brick wall, forming the boundary between the property and the main road, collapsed leaving a large area of land exposed. Although the collapsed wall appeared to consist simply of earth bank, an engineered retaining structure needed to be reinstated due to the proximity of the road.

To minimise the amount of excavation required and therefore minimise the disruption to the road and garden, PGB Construct Ltd designed an anchored block work retaining wall to be constructed on an anchored reinforced concrete beam foundation.

The works were completed to a high standard, with minimum disruption to the residents.

Ashford Private Dental Clinic Roof Renewal. Clinic roof needed a re-roofing due to on going leaks. First we removed the old tiles, felt and batten. We then replaced this with new breather membrane underlay and treated 2/1 roofing battens. We then installed 24/12 natural slates with lead checks on the dormer windows and leadwork to chimney. To finish, we installed new leadwork up against the main house.

Home Care Bathroom Adaptation. This project is for refurbishing existing g 30+ bathrooms for care home in Flokestone. Still ongoing. In partnership with Novus.
